Designed for teaching physical sciences in middle and high school, this Basix carrier offers a practical and sturdy solution for setting up experiments on optical benches. Its anodized aluminum structure ensures excellent stability while resisting corrosion and repeated handling during lab work.

The 60 mm high column eliminates the need to adjust the optical axis of various supports or component holders (however, it is recommended to add a rod stop, reference 204990, for light sources). Compatible with 10 mm diameter rods, it provides precise positioning thanks to its centered index and lateral clamping with a nylon screw, preventing any damage to the bench. The Teflon contact with the bench ensures smooth sliding, guaranteeing comfort and speed during adjustments.
