Interferometry
Interferometers are optical instruments used to observe light interference, that is, the superposition of two waves coming from the same source.
They make it possible to measure with great precision differences in optical path or very small displacements.
The most well-known types ( Michelson, Fabry–Pérot, and Mach–Zehnder ) offer different ways to study these phenomena using spectral lamps, lasers, or white light.
At Jeulin, these educational devices, often mounted on magnetic optical tables, ensure stability and precise observations.
In the same spirit, holography systems also rely on light interference to recreate a three-dimensional image of an object, providing a concrete and striking way to explore wave physics.
