Replenishment in progress

Several assemblies and configurations are possible: in reflection and in transmission! The holographic plates provided allow both uses.

Subjects discussed :
- Hologram by transmission
- Hologram by reflection
- Interferometric hologram and measurement of a micro-deformation

Principles and objectives:
Holography consists of recording by interferometry on a photosensitive support the scattered light wave, diffracted by an illuminated object, then restoring this light wave from the recording (or hologram). There are two families of hologram recording editing: transmission or reflection editing. During observation, the hologram obtained by transmission must be illuminated “from behind” the plate and by a Laser source which may be of a color other than that used during recording while a hologram obtained by reflection can be lit “from the front” and by a white point source (halogen, sun, etc.).

These assemblies are also at the origin of holographic interferometry techniques consisting of creating interferences from the hologram of an object and the object itself in order to precisely measure displacements or deformations of the object. order of the micrometer. There are several methods widely used in the industry for this, such as “double exposure holographic interferometry”. It consists of exposing the same photosensitive plate twice.
