Presented in a Petri dish, in a perfectly transparent resin, the fruit flies are easily observable under a magnifying glass and maintain the realistic "lab-like" character of fruit fly counts.
Parents and F1a are available in individual boxes of 40 individuals sorted and counted. The proportions of flies in each box correspond to the expected theoretical frequencies.

Parent box = 20 fruit flies of each parent P1 (mutant females / white eyes) and P2 (wild-type males / red eyes).
F1b box = cross of P1 x P2 = 20 wild-type females (red eyes) + 20 mutant males (white eyes)

Objectives:
Observe the sorted fruit flies under a binocular microscope, develop models, study chromosome segregation, gene distribution. Based on these results, define the type of hereditary law to which the studied strain corresponds.
