PTC Sensitivity Kit (DNA electrophoresis)

The tubes in this kit contain PCR amplification products, comparable to those obtained with the PTC sensitivity detection PCR kit (ref. 117136). The variation in taste sensitivity to PhenylThioCarbamide among individuals is based on point mutations. One of these mutations is highlighted by the DNA in this electrophoresis, which was obtained by PCR amplification followed by enzymatic digestion. The kit consists of:
