In vitro culture kit of the carnation - Effects of hormones

The experiment consists of studying the influence of the nature of the hormones present on the type of growth obtained.
Three media with different compositions of phytohormones are studied:
- Medium OE1: Cytokinin
- Medium OE2: Cytokinin + Auxin
- Medium OE3: Auxin
 
The in vitro culture is carried out from a node of a carnation plant. The seeds must be germinated at least 6 weeks before the lab session to obtain plants of sufficient size.
The growth results observed respectively on the three media are the formation of a plant, a callus, and the rooting of the seedling, after 4 to 6 weeks of culture.

At the end of the lab session, the rooted seedlings can be transferred to the greenhouse.

Format: 10 to 20 tests depending on the flask used
Duration of the experiment: 3 sessions of 50 min
Storage duration: 6 months
Storage condition: + 4 °C

The kit consists of:
- 1 sachet of carnation seeds
- 1 bottle of enriched Cytokinin Medium OE1 (dose for 400 mL)
- 1 bottle of enriched Cytokinin + Auxin Medium OE2 (dose for 400 mL)
- 1 bottle of enriched Auxin Medium OE3 (dose for 400 mL)
