Kit Plant Tissue Staining (xylem and phloem)

This kit contains all the reagents necessary for obtaining a differential staining of the conducting tissues of sap, xylem, phloem.
The protocol for the carmine green staining consists of two successive stainings. The carmine alum colors cellulose in red, and the brilliant green colors lignin in green (brilliant green gives results comparable to iodine green). The term iodine green is sometimes wrongly used, this 'historical' dye not being marketed in the European market for several years.

- Bright green in solution
- Alum carmine
- Sodium hypochlorite solution
- Ethanoic acid solution
- 4 dropper pipettes
