The SAFAS Easyspec Fluorescence Spectrophotometer is very easy to use and extremely robust. It allows for the easy creation of calibration curves and the measurement of samples of fluorescent substances reacting to selected wavelengths.

Equipped with a long-life excitation LED (over 10,000 hours) and high-quality interference filters to prevent stray light, it provides a very high measurement sensitivity thanks to a high-performance photodiode. The results and calibration curves are obtained using software in French, to be installed on a PC running Windows 10 or 11. The gain is adjustable to accommodate the desired sensitivity level.

VERSION 1, ideal for example for the analysis of quinine, typical sensitivity from 0.05 µg/L to 2 mg/L with excellent linearity (correlation on the order of 0.99999):

  • Excitation wavelength from 355 nm to 375 nm
  • Emission wavelength from 440 nm to 460 nm

Cuvettes: "standard" for 10 mm optical path fluorescence. Measurements can be made on fluorescence cuvettes (polished / transparent side faces) in quartz, glass, or transparent plastic up to 350 nm. Any surface defects on cuvette side faces not intended for fluorescence may be acceptable, however, they reduce measurement sensitivity, and cuvettes must always be used in the same position.
