Dean Stark Distiller Receiver

We offer a selection of high-quality Dean-Stark apparatus for your reaction setups in organic chemistry.

The Dean-Stark apparatus is a laboratory glassware setup used in synthetic chemistry to extract a liquid from a reaction medium. It is commonly used with a water-cooled condenser and a heating mantle to remove water produced during reflux heating. The density of the solvent you use is an important factor in selecting the right Dean-Stark apparatus.

In a laboratory, a Dean-Stark trap consists of a cylindrical, vertical glass component, graduated along its length and equipped with a stopcock. The top of the cylinder is attached to the bottom of the reflux condenser, while a side arm connects to the reaction flask.

Our Dean-Stark apparatus is available in different glass qualities and joint standards to meet your specific needs.
