The new Jenway UV-Visible spectrophotometer model 7205 uses Diode Array Detector technology to produce fast results. Covering a wavelength range from 198 to 800 nm with a bandwidth of 5 nm, it is ideal for multiple applications in teaching environments and for routine laboratory testing. The 7205 model offers various measurement modes such as absorbance, transmittance, and concentration calculated using a standard or factor, optical density, quantification with the ability to create calibration curves using up to 6 standards. Spectral scanning and kinetics can be measured simultaneously at 3 wavelengths. The device is equipped with two USB ports for data storage and connection to a printer. The front USB port can easily be used for data storage and transfer to Microsoft Excel® in CSV format, as well as for saving calibration curves. It is not necessary to recreate calibration curves for each measurement. The front USB port can also be used for internal software updates. The USB port located at the back of the device can be used to connect the unit to an optional external printer (ref: 702 292) for instant results. Spectra and kinetic curves are printed vertically to maximize the amount of displayed information. The user interface with a color touchscreen offers easy and quick programming and navigation. The 4' screen allows visualization of all spectra, quantification curves, and kinetics. Additionally, the touchscreen features allow zooming in and out and selecting a specific point on the spectrum with a simple touch. The 7205 spectrophotometer comes with a 10 x 10 mm cuvette holder. It has been designed to accommodate a wide range of passive accessories compatible with the 63, 73, and 67 series of spectrophotometers. This range includes a tube holder (ref: 702 293), a cuvette holder for optical path lengths from 10 to 100 mm (ref: 702 299), and a microcuvette holder (ref: 702 377). All accessories are easily interchangeable. For applications requiring sample temperature control, there is also a cuvette holder for measurements at 37°C (ref: 702 291). This accessory accepts a standard 10 x 10 mm cuvette and can be exchanged without any tools. To always maintain a clear and uncluttered workspace, a cuvette holder for storing your blanks and samples has been integrated into the 7200 model.

Supplied with 10 x 10 mm tank support, universal power cable, and user manual.
