Light source: Long-life Tungsten (10-year warranty *)
Monochromator: Ebert type (sealed)
Detector: Photodiode (sample illuminated in monochromatic light, avoiding heating, drift, and evaporation as in a double-beam.
Standard: Holmium oxide standard filter integrated, with automatic validation utilities.
Universal cuvette holder for:
- Cuvettes from 5 to 50 mm optical path length
- Tube of 13 to 25 mm diameter
Outputs:
- Standard USB
- Parallel port for printer is provided
- Analog 0 to 1 Volt (optional)
- RS232 serial port (available on request)
Software: optional
Power supply: 115/230 V - 50/60 Hz
Dimensions: 400 x 300 x 145 mm
Weight: Approximately 10 Kg (depending on options)Sensitivity: up to 5.10-8 g/l of quinine - Detector: High sensitivity photodiode (10-year warranty for the detector that can be exposed to full light).
Cuvettes: "standard" for 10 mm optical path fluorescence. Measurements can be made on fluorescence cuvettes (polished / transparent side faces) in quartz, glass, or transparent plastic up to 350 nm. Any surface defects on cuvette side faces not intended for fluorescence may be acceptable, however, they reduce measurement sensitivity, and the cuvettes must always be used in the same position.
Connection: USB 2 - Computer with Windows 10 or 11 required for operation (not provided). Free software updates for the lifetime of the instrument (Sustainable Spectroscopy concept).
