Berlese funnel

Objective:
Isolate soil microarthropods. Highlight the different aspects of biodiversity.

Principle:
In the field or in the laboratory, the student implements a simple protocol allowing them to observe the arthropods present in soil. Using a lamp, they illuminate their sample, the litter animals, fleeing the light and heat emitted by the lamp, pass through a sieve, slide down a funnel, and fall into a transparent collector.

Comes with sieve, sampling brush, and hand magnifier, attaching to the edge of the device for storage. Comes with instructions.
