LCD supplement

The liquid crystal display is a concrete application of polarization.
Our LCD display allows for the implementation of a real system that can be found in everyday life, to study its operation and the effect of liquid crystals on the polarization of light, thus explaining the 'black' color of the 'lit' segments.
Mounted on a rod, you can place the display on an optical bench between two polarizers to more easily find its neutral axis, the maxima and minima of brightness, and determine the rotational behavior of polarization when the liquid crystals are aligned.
