DNA Single and Double Strand Study Kit

This kit will allow addressing the concepts of reversible denaturation of DNA, hyperchromic effect, and DNA melting temperature (Tm). Through a fluorescent compound that specifically binds to double-stranded DNA, students will concretely approach these concepts that are involved in the PCR technique. They will monitor the fluorescence evolution of a DNA solution after heating at different temperatures using the fluorescence visualization adapter.
