The DNA precipitation kit has been specially developed to successfully and cost-effectively precipitate and stain DNA. Extracting DNA from cell nuclei is never easy. You need to lyse the plasma membranes, solubilize the DNA in a suitable solvent while protecting it from nucleases, and separate it from cellular debris. This kit allows you, starting from a salmon DNA solution, to demonstrate the precipitation reaction and observe a DNA macromolecule without encountering the difficulties of previous steps. The addition of ethanol precipitates the DNA, which can be wound onto a glass stirrer. The unwound and isolated DNA may not be visible, but the aggregated strands are clearly visible here.
