DNA Electrophoresis Kit Forensic Science

This kit contains all the necessary materials for conducting DNA electrophoresis on agarose gel as part of a forensic investigation educational scenario. This technique allows for the detection of genetic markers that differ among individuals, species, or genders. Principle: The student only needs to place the DNA samples on agarose gel for the analysis and interpretation of genetic fingerprints in DNA tests. The student compares the profile obtained between the tubes of suspects and the sample collected at the crime scene. The kit consists of:
- 1 tube of molecular marker (75 µl)
- 3 tubes of suspects (170 µl / tube)
- 1 tube of DNA collected at the crime scene (170 µl)
- Agarose (4.5 g), TAE buffer 10X (125 ml), Azure A dye (160 mg)
