DNA Extraction Kit

All the necessary ingredients to extract the DNA from a plant in student format. The objective is to recover the DNA (and its associated proteins) from kiwi or onion plant cells. This extraction is followed by a precipitation reaction to highlight it. Pre-dosed vials simplify the preparation steps. The kit allows for 10 extractions with 1.5 mL vials of stringent solution, sodium chloride, ethanol, and acetic methylene green. Additional materials: Beakers, mortars with pestles, funnels, filter paper, test tubes.
