The Brix degree measures the concentration (%) of a compound in a solution: the ratio of the weight (in grams) of dissolved solids in 100 g of the tested solution.

The KERN ORA-B series models are manual and universal analog refractometers that require no maintenance.
Their design has been specifically created to make them robust, practical, and durable tools. You can easily avoid human errors thanks to a multiple choice graduation scale.

Due to their design, these scales are calculated and controlled with great precision, easily distinguishable by fine lines. Furthermore, the optical system and prism cover allow for low tolerance measurement. Each eyepiece has an intuitive and smooth adjustment for different visions.
