Centrifuge 5425/5425 R - Eppendorf

The Eppendorf 5425 and 5425 R microcentrifuges are true laboratory standards. These quiet, 24-place microcentrifuges offer an exceptional set of features for a wide range of molecular and cellular biology applications in Eppendorf tubes and PCR tubes ranging from 0.2 to 5 mL.

With short cycles of up to 12 minutes, they produce a very low average noise level of 45 dB(A) at a maximum speed of 21,300 × g, sufficient for most centrifugation steps of the most common DNA/RNA purification kits. For longer cycles, the cooling fan operates at full capacity to dissipate heat during the remaining cycle time.

Thanks to the advanced cooling system of the Centrifuge 5425 R, it ensures optimal separation results and reliable cooling at 4 °C, even at maximum rotor speed. With a fast pre-cooling time of only 8 minutes (from approximately 21 °C to 4 °C), this centrifuge is ready for use as quickly as you are.
