Made in the United Kingdom, the QWS4 distiller combines high performance and excellent value for money. The boiler and condenser are made of high-quality Pyrex glass. Safety The chrome-plated heating element is equipped with two independent thermostats to protect the system from overheating in case of water supply failure. Quality Distillate This device produces 4 L/h of pyrogen-free distilled water thanks to its chrome-plated heating element with a power of 3 kW. Efficient Cooling Equipped with removable plastic threaded connectors, the Pyrex glass spiral condenser ensures efficient cooling of the distillate. Easy Cleaning No disassembly required. The Pyrex glass boiler has an integrated funnel that facilitates the addition of descaling agent. REMINDER: After a certain period of operation, scale may deposit on the heating element and inside the boiler. To ensure the proper functioning of the device, scale must be regularly removed. The time interval between 2 cleanings depends on the hardness of the feed water. In regions where the water is very hard, it may be necessary to clean the distiller weekly. In regions where the water is softer, several weeks may pass between 2 cleaning operations. Significant scaling will reduce the quality of the distilled water and the lifespan of the heating element. The appearance of white deposits on the heating element and/or the boiler is a sign that descaling is necessary. Scale dissolves perfectly in a 10% diluted formic acid solution. Some household descaling solutions can also be used.
