Convection conduction circuit

The convection/conduction chamber is a clever model that allows your students to experiment and measure in response to the issues raised by the concepts of convection and conduction. By introducing a few drops of dye into the chamber, students can observe the movements of the liquid generated by the studied phenomenon. Thanks to the lid fastening systems, the immersion depths of the heating element and the temperature probes can be precisely adjusted independently. This allows for easy study of convection or conduction and measurement of temperature evolution in the chamber based on the depth in each case. Safety: - The electrical supply is at Very Low Safety Voltage (12 V). - To prevent any risk of burns, the lid is equipped with a circuit breaker preventing the heating element from being powered if it is not locked onto the chamber. - All experiments are conducted at temperatures below 60°C. - The labeling on the lid constantly reminds of the instructions to be followed, including the requirement for immersion of the heating element. - Thanks to its low thermal inertia, the heating element will cool down as soon as it is opened.
