This reduced model of a riverbed with meanders, banks, valley slopes, and an affluent valley, allows for explaining the formation of alluvial features observed in nature:
- **Erosion processes and forms:** sandy microcliff, concave bank asymmetry/convex bank, erosion of a bank, of a meander...
- **Transport of alluvium:** transport speed, differences in material behavior...
- **Deposition of materials:** formation of sandy banks, dead arms, meanders, sedimentation in a water body like a lake or delta...
- **Evolution of sedimentary features:** based on variations in slope, terrain shape, water flow rate, material nature, and quantity.

The device shows the relationship between particle size and current velocity based on the Hjulström diagram.
Its unique relief was designed by François Michel, a geologist and scientific popularizer expert.

The model consists of:
- 1 relief plastic model: 145 x 45 cm
- 1 wooden incline adjustment wedge for the model
- 1 flexible 2m PVC supply tube and its fixing clip
- Detailed downloadable instructions

- 1 model in relief - 1 wood block allowing to vary the inclination of the model - 1 supply tube of 2 m in flexible PVC and its fixing clip Detailed record
