Maquette Minitecto

This model allows students to reproduce rock deformations related to plate tectonics that are naturally observable at the landscape or outcrop scale. The simulation materials (powders) are placed in the manipulation chamber and will mimic stretching when the jaws are moved apart or compressions when the jaws are brought closer together. The manipulation volume has been designed for easy use in the classroom and allows for multiple manipulations during a lab session. The components of the model are easily washable.
