Convection cell model

Very simple to implement, this model allows for the analogical modeling of thermal convection at the origin of atmospheric movements and ocean currents, and the effect of salinity and heat on the formation of currents. Evolutive, thanks to its ingenious assembly system, it allows for a progressive approach, ranging from a simple understanding of the thermal convection phenomenon with 2 tanks, to the establishment, by adding a 3rd tank, of 2 convective cells symbolizing the establishment of major currents between the poles and the equator. The temperature measurements taken simultaneously allow for linking thermal imbalance and the establishment of a convection current. **Operating principle:** pour hot water into one tank and cold water into another simultaneously.
