Excerpts from the syllabus:
12th Grade: Wave-particle duality
Understand and use the relation p=h/ν.

11th Grade: Sources of colored light
Light-matter interaction: emission and absorption. Quantification of energy levels of matter.
Relation ΔE=h.ν in energy exchanges.
Understand the relations: λ=c/ν and ΔE=h.ν and use them to analyze an energy level diagram.

11th Grade (STL): Light and energy
Experimentally determine some characteristics of a photoemitter.
Interpret energy exchanges between light and matter using the corpuscular model of light.
Apply the corpuscular model of light to explain the principle of a photoemitter and a photodetector.

Experiment Objective:
The objective is to determine the order of magnitude of Planck's constant by studying the characteristics of a group of LEDs.
