Water Bathes

A water bath is an essential laboratory instrument used to heat a container immersed in a bath of water or oil, depending on the desired temperature. To select the appropriate water bath, it is crucial to evaluate the volume required for heating your samples.

The thermostatic water bath is a specific type of water bath where the liquid is heated using a heating coil. Unlike traditional water baths, the thermostatic water bath allows for precise temperature control, making it ideal for experiments that require consistent and accurate heating.

Equip your water bath with essential accessories sold separately:

> A cover plate to place at the bottom of the tank to stabilize containers.

> A weight to the containers to prevent tipping.

> A holder for test tubes that fits the diameter of the tubes.

> A lid to minimize evaporation and facilitate higher temperatures.
