The electrolyte of traditional silver/silver chloride reference systems must be saturated with silver chloride. With sensitive samples, especially those containing sulfide or proteins, this saturation causes contamination of the diaphragm by silver sulfide. This is not possible with InLab® electrodes equipped with the ARGENTHAL™ system and a silver ion barrier that ensures the electrolyte is free of silver ions. The ARGENTHAL™ reference system also enhances the lifespan and accuracy of measurements at various sampling temperatures. The glass electrode provides protection against organic and corrosive samples. The S7 head, compatible with many cables, allows for use with a wide range of devices.
