Microbio Sérénit® manipulation table

This accessory fits on the Serenit^® electric burner.
It allows you to work in a sterile environment.
You can thus advantageously replace Bunsen burners and approach microbiology without gas.

It is suitable for inoculating boxes and tubes.
The platinum loop (eyelet) is sterilized by contact with the resistance (even if incandescence is not reached as with a flame).
Laboratory tests (E. Coli, LB medium) show that the loop is sterilized in less than 20 seconds.
The sterile zone created by the hot air flow from the electric burner effectively covers the surface of the stainless steel plate (about 7 cm).
Inoculation manipulations performed under these conditions are effective and free from any contamination.
