This device performs measurements in absorbance or transmittance. It can be used with ordinary colored filters. However, we recommend the use of narrow bandwidth filters (monochromatic filters references 703 548 to 703 555). By choosing the appropriate filter for the solution being studied, a wider range of applications can be achieved. The measured values are provided as voltages (0-2 ABS / 0-2V; 0-100% / 0-1V) directly readable on a multimeter. The polychromatic source consists of a white LED with a long lifespan that eliminates the constraints of changing lamps that devices equipped with filament lamps present. The analog output can also be used by all data acquisition and processing systems (ExAO) used in educational institutions.
