Metallographic microscope - OKM 173 - KERN

Metallographic microscope specially designed for quality assurance, known for its great stability and ease of use.
This professional trinocular offers a 5W LED transmitted light illumination, ensuring a highly contrasted image. The lighting unit benefits from a x5 filter turret: blue, green, yellow, gray, and empty. This allows for quick changes of color filters. A polarization kit complements the tool's performance: an analyzer and a polarizer.
The product quality is also notable for its infinity-corrected plan achromatic objectives, the 4 in the series are:

A variety of objectives, ideal for thick preparations or machined parts.

The main binocular tube benefits from all the advantages of Kern microscopes in terms of ergonomics and comfort: Siedentopf-type eyepieces inclined at 30° and rotatable at 360°, furthermore the interpupillary distance is easily adjustable and a diopter compensation control is located at the top of the device. Ray path distribution: 80:20.
The device is equipped with a large mechanical stage: 200x140 mm, for a larger working surface, adjustable as needed with a range of 76 mm by 52 mm.

The delivery includes a protective cover, protective caps, as well as the multilingual user manual.
