ODEON is the range of digital portable devices dedicated to water quality monitoring in the field or in the laboratory.

A true combination of robustness and digital intelligence, ODEON offers you a level of measurement reliability and ease of use never reached before. With DIGISENS digital sensors, it can measure up to 9 physicochemical parameters. With the PHOTOPOD, it becomes a photometer capable of analyzing over 40 additional parameters. ODEON is available in a single-probe version (ODEON OPEN ONE) or multiparameter version (ODEON OPEN X) for all your in-situ measurements. The OPEN technology allows automatic recognition of all PONSEL digital probes.

Physico-chemical technology:

The PONSEL sensor incorporates a reference electrode, used for pH and Redox measurements, of the Ag/AgCl type with a saturated KCl "PLASTOGEL"® electrolyte. The "PLASTOGEL"® electrolyte communicates directly with the external environment without the interposition of capillaries or porous materials. There is therefore no risk of clogging or priming of the reference. The measuring electrodes are in the form of a special glass bulb sensitive to pH and welded to the end of a crystal tube for pH, and in the form of a platinum tip for Redox. Temperature: measurements via a NTC inserted in a stainless steel sheath.

Digital communication / Integrated transmitter:

The PONSEL sensor connects to any type of data logger, transmitter, remote management system, or controller with a Modbus RS485 input. Thanks to sensor indexing, over 200 sensors can be connected to a data logger. Resistant to disturbances: pre-amplification integrated into the sensor and digital signal processing. All data regarding calibration, history, and users are recorded directly in the PHEHT sensor.

Mechanical:

A handle made of DELRIN material ensures the mechanical holding of the sensor and the watertight sealing of the cable. Compact, robust, and lightweight, the sensor allows for use in a portable or fixed station version.
