This reagent absorbs water vapor to maintain a dry environment for your product. When the gel's absorption capacity is exhausted, the compound changes color from orange to colorless.
The product can be regenerated by heating in an oven at 120-140°C for about 3 hours, then reused. It is suitable for many drying applications but is not recommended for highly acidic or highly alkaline compounds.
