Presentation:
The drosophila specimens on slides, arranged in an elegant storage box, include:
- 1 slide Parents: P1 females/males red eye (wild type), P2 females/males white eye (mutant).
- 1 slide F1 (female red eye x male white eye): 100% males and females red eye.
- 6 test slides F1 from the opposite cross (female white eye x male red eye): 50% females red eye, 50% males white eye.

Objectives:
Observe with a binocular microscope a population of 300 individuals, sorted (but not counted!), develop models, study chromosome segregation, gene distribution. Based on these results, define the type of hereditary law to which the studied strain adheres to.

Mutations studied: Red eye or white eye. 1 Parents blade: Red eye males and females (wild), white eye males and females (mutated). 1 F1 blade: Crossbreed female with red eye x male white eye. Males and females all have the red eye phenotype. 6 F1 test slides of the opposite cross: Female with white eye x male with red eye. We observe that 50% are red-eyed females, 50% are white-eyed males. Supplied in a case.
