Active Q-Switch option Nd:YAG laser

A Pockels cell (LiNbO3) modifies the polarization state of the Nd:YAG emission. A Brewster plate introduces losses and disrupts the laser operation. When the cell is switched, losses are minimized and a laser pulse accumulates. The voltage and switching frequency are adjusted by the Pockels cell controller. In combination with the 204821, intra and extra-cavity SHG can be demonstrated.
