Microbiological Diagnostic PCR Kit

True practical initiation to the Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) technique, this kit offers a quick experimentation to understand and implement a complete amplification manipulation. The applications of this technique are numerous; it can be used for individual identification, genetic anomaly research, GMO detection, molecular phylogeny, and identification of bacterial virulence genes. For this kit, the objective is to determine the prevalence of pathogenic Escherichia coli. PCR will be used to detect the presence of the "estB" gene encoding the virulence factor enterotoxin "STb". The result interpretation will be done using an agarose gel after staining.
