This refractometer is suitable for the following measurements:

- The Brix degree measures the concentration (%) of a compound in a solution: the ratio between the mass of dissolved solids (in grams) in 100 g of the tested solution.
- Honey water content
- Baumé degree (°Bé) to determine the relative density of liquids

The models of the KERN ORA-B series are universal manual and analog refractometers that require no maintenance.
Their design has been specifically created to make them robust, practical, and durable tools. You can easily avoid human errors thanks to a multiple choice graduation scale.
