This portable electronic refractometer, with a Brix scale, is easy to use and efficient.
Operating on the principle of measuring the refractive index by reflection, it allows for the rapid and precise determination of the concentration of soluble solids in fluid samples.
Fundamentally, the Brix is calibrated based on the number of grams of cane sugar contained in a solution. Therefore, it is particularly well suited for measuring sugar concentrations. Other components in solution can also be measured. For accurate concentrations, conversion tables are necessary.
Housed in a robust and waterproof casing (IP 65), it is perfectly suitable for use in laboratory practicals.
