Skull from La Chapelle-aux-Saints. Very elongated and low skull; high cranial capacity. Very strong brow ridges and sloping forehead. Prominent nasal bones, large and high eye sockets. Strong lower jaws with a receding chin; teeth larger than those of modern humans.
