The AFG-4000 series of arbitrary function generators is the first series of arbitrary function generators from GW Instek to feature a large 8" touchscreen. The bandwidth of the single-channel models is 25 MHz, while the dual-channel models have a bandwidth selection of 250 MHz/100 MHz/80 MHz/60 MHz/35 MHz/25 MHz. The entire series offers a high resolution of 1 Hz and built-in standard waveforms such as sine, square, triangle, pulse, noise, harmonic waveforms, etc. The 250 MHz model with the highest bandwidth provides a sampling rate of 1.25 GSa/s; mid-range models from 35 MHz to 100 MHz provide a sampling rate of 500 MSa/s; and entry-level models around 25 MHz have a sampling rate of 125 MSa/s. For vertical resolution, the 35 MHz to 250 MHz models offer a resolution of 16 bits, while the entry-level 25 MHz models provide a resolution of 14 bits. Additionally, in terms of memory depth, the dual-channel models from 25 MHz to 250 MHz provide a memory depth of 10M, and the entry-level single-channel 25 MHz models offer an arbitrary waveform editing function with a memory depth of 16k. The entire series is equipped with 146 built-in arbitrary waveforms for editing and output.
