DELio LED 2.0 polarizing microscope

After several years of existence, it was time for our DELio microscope in its polarizing version to evolve in order to offer you a microscope equipped with the latest technological advancements. This version 2.0 differs from the first version by:

- a new super LED.

- a new polarizer/analyzer pair.

A new super LED

This new super LED offers an optimal and warm rendering of colors for each shade of minerals. Its warm white spectrum is close to natural light. It allows for balanced color intensity for blue, green, and yellow while having a powerful intensity in red. This wide and complete spectrum in the visible range allows for the observation of all minerals without their color being biased by the emission spectrum of the bulb.

A new polarizer/analyzer pair

As in version 1.0 of the DELio polarizing microscope, the analyzer is still placed in the head and the polarizer on the illumination block. However, now it is the polarizer that is adjustable and not the analyzer. The analyzer is no longer adjustable; it operates via a sliding system and can either be placed in the optical path or removed from it. The polarizer is still positioned on the illumination block and can be oriented from 0 to 360°.

When you want to achieve extinction, you simply need to push the analyzer into the head and turn the polarizer until you find the maximum extinction.

For the rest, nothing changes, the DELio remains the DELio!

Like any polarizing microscope, it is equipped with a round rotating and graduated stage (equipped with 2 clips). Fully configurable, you can choose the type of head you want (monocular, duo, binocular, trinocular, with integrated camera), the eyepieces (x10 with or without pointer, x15 with or without pointer), the quality of the objectives (achromatic, semi-plan, or plan), as well as the magnification of the objectives (4x, 10x, 40x, 60x, 100x oil immersion). This microscope features a cable management system located at the back of the microscope, a rechargeable battery for use without being plugged into an outlet, a protective stop to safeguard your microscopic preparations, a pre-centered and height-adjustable condenser, a turret oriented towards the back that can accommodate up to 4 objectives, and a coaxial focusing system. All of this is brought together around a solid and stable cast iron stand.
