New from Nikon, the Eclipse Ei microscope has been designed to perfectly meet the needs of students in the field of microscopy. The Eclipse Ei combines technical features that make it a very high-quality microscope while being simple to use for a student audience.
Intuitive and playful adjustment of the condenser: the color code on the condenser aperture positions corresponds to the color code of the objectives.
Secure focusing: a height limit (protection stop) of the stage can be set to prevent collisions between the objectives and the samples.
Very lightweight and compact model: takes up little space on the workspace. Light to carry, its storage is facilitated by the integrated cord winder.
Risk of breakage or theft: the condenser, observation head, and eyepieces are fixed.
Online guide to stimulate curiosity and help the student: by scanning the QR code provided with each microscope, students can easily learn how to use the microscope and learn more about microscopy.
Very bright LED illumination and 4X, X10, and 40X plan objectives included (depending on the configuration, the X100 oil immersion objective can also be included). X20 and X60 objectives are available as options. The quality of the objectives, the brightness of the illumination, and the 20mm field of view make observation easier.
Rotating eyepiece tube: it is possible to rotate the eyepieces so that the teacher can observe from their side and to reduce the storage space required.
The Eclipse Ei microscope is available in binocular or trinocular version with, in the latter case, an integrated C-mount adapter.
