Operating principle: displacement of the balls, each containing a liquid of different density. Depending on the temperature, the density of the liquid in the column undergoes temperature changes and its density changes. The balls will then rise or fall to reach a position where their density is equal to that of the liquid in the column. The temperature is indicated by the lowest ball among the balls located at the top of the column.
