The transparent polyester film is used as a substrate for paint application to analyze its transparency, gloss, and color. It is chosen to control foam stabilization and pigment defoculation, or placed on a black and white background to analyze the covering power of a paint. Furthermore, it is also used to protect a film stretch after drying, while keeping the stretch visible.
