Distiller Distinction D4000 - STUART

The silica-sheathed heating element ensures high-purity distillation at an economical price.
A level controller allows the heating to be stopped when the recipe tank is full. This prevents any risk of overflow if the device is left running unattended.
Equipped with two independent safety thermostats, one in the condenser and the other in the boiler, to stop the distiller in case of water supply interruption.

The exclusive design of the condenser ensures that distilled water droplets remain in contact with the cooling coil for as long as possible. This improves efficiency by producing cold distilled water and preheating the feed water for the still.

All water connections are threaded: pipes can be easily connected and disconnected without the risk of breakage.
The Distinction is equipped with a funnel for adding acid and a shut-off valve on the drain. This allows for easy descaling without having to disassemble the glassware.
The stand is pre-drilled to facilitate wall mounting.

REMINDER: After a certain operating time, scale may deposit on the heating element and inside the boiler. To ensure the proper functioning of the device, scale must be regularly removed.
The time interval between 2 cleanings depends on the hardness of the feed water. In regions where the water is very hard, it may be necessary to clean the distiller every week. In regions where the water is softer, several weeks may pass between 2 cleaning operations.
Significant scaling will reduce the quality of the distilled water and the lifespan of the heating element.
The appearance of white deposits on the heating element and/or the boiler is a sign that descaling is necessary.
Scale dissolves perfectly in a 10% dilute formic acid solution.
Some household descaling solutions can also be used.
