Ohaus SHHD4550DG Digital Heavy Duty Orbital Shaker

An ultra-resistant digital orbital shaker designed specifically for extreme applications with its large capacities: large 61 x 61 cm platform, 45.4 kg load capacity, and 51 mm orbit.

Operating Features:

Accu-Drive Agitation System: The patented and exclusive Accu-Drive agitation system offers exceptional durability, precision, and speed control. The agitation system continuously controls the agitation speed and maintains the set point even if the loads change. When the unit is set to a speed higher than 100 rpm, the speed accuracy is approximately 1% of the set speed. When the set speed is below 100 rpm, the speed accuracy is approximately 1 rpm.

Microprocessor Control: Variable speed microprocessor control ensures uniform and constant agitation. The microprocessor displays the last set point and restarts in case of power interruption.
Triple Eccentric Drive: Permanently lubricated maintenance-free ball bearings, brushless DC motor to ensure reliable continuous operation.

LED Display: Touch controls with LED displays, shows speed and time allowing the operator to view both parameters at once. Provides precise and reproducible results every time. The timer displays elapsed time or, if the user sets a limit, stops the unit when it reaches zero. The display shows the last used parameters, even after power off.

RS232 Interface: Provides dual communication for data logging and unit control.
Speed Calibration Mode: Allows the user to automatically recalibrate the speed display.

Safety Features:

Load Sensor: An integrated load sensor detects imbalances and automatically reduces rpm to a safe speed to protect the samples.
Overload Protection: Visual and audible signals will trigger if the system detects an overload.
Speed Ramp Feature: Gradually increases speed to the desired point to avoid splashing.
Audible Alarm: In programmed mode, an alarm sounds when the timer reaches zero. The alarm can be set to silent from the control touchpad.
Waterproof Design: Channels liquids away from internal components in case of intrusion into the system.

Operating Conditions:

The unit can be used in cold rooms, incubators, and CO2-rich environments ranging from -10 to 60 °C with humidity levels up to 80%, without condensation.
