Heating element - STUART

Heating element for Stuart Mérit W4000 water distiller (Ref. 701 165). The heating element is guaranteed for 1 year or 1,000 hours of use. AS A REMINDER: After a certain period of operation, limescale may deposit on the heating element and inside the boiler. To ensure the proper functioning of the device, the limescale must be regularly removed. The time interval between 2 cleanings depends on the hardness of the feed water. In regions where the water is very hard, it may be necessary to clean the distiller every week. In regions where the water is softer, several weeks may pass between 2 cleaning operations. The appearance of white deposits on the heating element and/or the boiler is a sign that descaling is necessary. Limescale dissolves perfectly in a 10% diluted formic acid solution. Some household descaling solutions can also be used.
