Zeiss is pleased to offer you its legendary Primostar microscope in a specific configuration. The Primostar 101 is a straight binocular microscope with fixed Köhler illumination and 4, 10, 40 plan-achromat objectives. It combines all the known qualities of the Zeiss brand in a microscope dedicated to the field of education and at a very attractive price. It is composed of a metal stand, the objectives are factory-tightened, and the eyepieces are locked. Additionally, Zeiss has optimized the Primo Star by developing various elements based on 3 criteria: safety, comfort, and ease for the teacher. Regarding safety, the microscope has blue LED indicators on both sides for operation and intensity, allowing the teacher to identify microscopes that have not been turned off or students who may risk glare. With an observation distance greater than 2 cm, the lenses can be protected from sebum or makeup and facilitate those who wear glasses. To prevent breakage, the filters are installed in a screw compartment. For comfort, the microscopes have an ergonomic tube (Siedentopf tube) inclined at 30° allowing interpupillary adjustment and two height adjustment positions, without changing the neck angle. To free up space on the workbench and have a good hand position for note-taking, the stand is in a T shape. Teachers have not been overlooked by Zeiss in the design process. For them, the power supply is external for easy replacement and it has a dedicated storage at the back of the microscope. An extender is available to adapt to all types of workbenches. The transport handle and the 360° 'flip' tube allow for more compact storage.
