Chromosomes or chromatids are represented by magnetic rods of different colors and sizes.

Genes or alleles can be schematized according to desired uses, either with a dry erase marker or with a permanent marker to preserve annotations from one class to another (e.g., A, O, B, AB, Rh+, Rh-...).
