Cretaceous - Tertiary transition box

Lab kit aimed at identifying the Cretaceous/Tertiary boundary through the analysis of sedimentological indicators from these two periods.

The set consists of:
- 1 thin limestone slide from the Upper Maastrichtian with globotruncanids and heterohelicids
- 1 thin limestone slide from the Paleocene with small globigerinids
- 1 preparation of whole microfossils from the Upper Maastrichtian
- 1 preparation of microfossils from the Paleocene
