Strioscopy Kit only
Strioscopy, or 'Schlieren flow visualization,' is the observation of light deviated by the movement of fluids or by temperature variations. The proposed experiment allows to eliminate undisturbed and geometrically reflected light rays by the mirror, and to observe only the rays that have undergone a change in trajectory. The filter blocks the center of the image, which has the effect of eliminating low spatial frequencies and thus accentuating the 'fast' variations in image contrast. We offer a set for a kit of supports and components only, including the 'strioscopy' filter specially designed for this experiment (sources, camera detector, and prism bench not included).
